New wheels

All sales and services offered by Japan Spec ARE FINAL. No returns or exchanges will be accepted, NO EXCEPTIONS.

Japan Spec does not accept returns for the following reasons:
- The customer does not know the product
- Brake caliper clearance, spacers may sometimes be necessary. (Please confirm with us before ordering)
- Deliberate fraud
- Incorrect product or size ordered (Please check with us before placing an order)
- Improper installation of a properly sized tire (e.g. tire stretching).
- Faulty installation of a tire due to the fault of a technician.

NO RETURNS OR EXCHANGES ON ANY ORDER WITH NON-STANDARD DIMENSIONS . Any order requiring modifications to the vehicle so that the wheels can be used (Tire stretching/Fender pulling/wing rolling/non-standard camber/widebody/etc) cannot under any circumstances be returned due to installation difficulty. It is the buyer's responsibility to purchase wheels suitable for use on their vehicle and make any necessary modifications. Japan Spec cannot be held responsible for modifications made by the customer to his vehicle and the consequences associated with these. ORDER CANCELLATION IMPOSSIBLE . Considering the tailor-made nature of most of our products, it is impossible to cancel an order once it has been placed. Under no circumstances is Japan Spec required to agree to take as inventory a tailor-made product that has been ordered by a customer. 35% restocking fee if Japan Spec agrees to take inventory of a product ordered by a customer. In the event that a customer cancels their order, the deposit requested when ordering is retained in full.

Before fitting the tires, make sure all specifications and finishes match what you ordered. Also make sure there was no damage during transportation. Once the tires are mounted, the wheels are yours. Any problems should be reported as soon as possible within 10 days of receiving the wheels.

Used wheels

Most of the used/rebuilt wheels we sell are over 15 years old. Due to age, corrosion and metal fatigue, no warranty can be given. While we will always do our best to refurbish these products for rebuilt products, there will always be limits to what is possible. Thus, damage such as cracks, corrosion, small imperfections may occur. Sometimes there is no remedy that can be provided to resolve these issues.

We import used wheels. All JDM wheels shown are in USED CONDITION. Unless otherwise noted, faces are in original condition, meaning they are not refinished. Note that the majority of these wheels are used Japanese wheels and many of them are over 10-15 years old. Chipping, scratches, pitting, etc. are normal for wheels of this age. We offer finishing services if desired at an additional cost. Do not expect the wheels to be in near new condition if they are not touched up.

Shipping

By using Japan Spec shipping services, you agree to the following terms:

Shipping Costs: Shipping costs displayed on our website include standard shipping services and do not include insurance. We offer this option by default in order to provide cost-effective shipping solutions to our customers.

Shipping Insurance: It is important to note that Japan Spec does not automatically include shipping insurance by default in order to provide savings to its customers. Japan Spec assumes no responsibility for any loss, damage, or theft of your package during the shipping process if you choose not to purchase shipping insurance. We strongly advise you to consider purchasing insurance to protect your shipment.

Understanding of Liability: You, as the customer, acknowledge and understand that if you choose not to purchase insurance for shipping, Japan Spec will not be responsible for any damage, loss or theft that may occur to your package during transportation.

Customs Fees (International Orders): For international orders outside of the contiguous United States (US 50 States), customs fees are not included in the shipping cost. Any applicable customs duties or import taxes are the sole responsibility of the recipient.

Optional Shipping Insurance: To add shipping insurance to your order, please contact our Facebook/Instagram page or email.

Insurance Coverage: The terms and coverage of shipping insurance will be determined by the insurance provider. Any complaints or disputes regarding insurance coverage should be directed to the insurer.

Claims Procedure: If your package is damaged, lost or stolen in transit and you have purchased insurance, you must follow the claims procedure outlined by the insurer to obtain compensation or settlement.

Responsibility for Accuracy of Information: It is your responsibility to provide accurate delivery information, including the correct delivery address and contact details. Japan Spec will not be held responsible for any issues arising from incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer.

Delivery Times: Although we strive to meet estimated delivery times, Japan Spec cannot guarantee delivery dates. Delivery times may vary depending on factors beyond our control, such as weather conditions, customs procedures or carrier delays.

Shipping Restrictions: Certain products or shipments may be subject to specific shipping restrictions or regulations. It is your responsibility to ensure that your shipment complies with all applicable laws and regulations.

Changes to Conditions: Japan Spec reserves the right to update or modify these shipping conditions.

Repair/rebuild services

All wheel repair or rebuild work is carried out to the best of our ability, depending on the initial condition of the wheels. We strive to restore each wheel to near perfection, but they will not and cannot be perfect or new.
As a customer, you must understand and agree not to expect a “perfect” or “new” wheel once service is completed.
Any wheel, no matter how slightly warped, CAN crack during the straightening process. We assure you that most wheels will not crack and we take every precaution to preserve the integrity of your wheel throughout the process. In the event that your wheel cracks and is not repairable, we will not charge for the time or labor spent in the effort to straighten the wheel. If we deem a wheel to be unsafe, we will not refit the tire and wheel to the vehicle (no exceptions). This measure is taken for your safety. However, you, the customer, will be responsible for the cost of a replacement wheel (which you can purchase from Japan Spec or are free to purchase elsewhere). Occasionally, small marks or discolorations may be left during straightening if the wheel has been severely bent or has an upper lip bend, and by having your wheel straightened you agree that this is acceptable.
Some types of cracks cannot be welded and not all wheels are repairable. Most often this is due to security reasons or a structural compromise. Sometimes it is more cost effective and less expensive to replace a damaged wheel with a replacement wheel. Some types of cracks cannot be welded and not all wheels are repairable. Estimates given to customers do not constitute a contractual obligation on cost. Your wheel will be examined by our staff during processing and we will contact you if there is a change in cost. Plated finishes, special color matches, and severely damaged or deformed wheels may result in additional charges.
We reserve the right to change prices in certain cases, but we will always inform you and ask for your agreement before charging you a price increase or carrying out additional work. Our wheel refinishing results are at the high end of industry standards. It should be noted, however, that no matter how good a refinishing process is, it does not result in a brand new wheel. Often, refurbishing a used wheel does not always guarantee the results of a new wheel. When refinishing a wheel, it should be expected that there will be small imperfections in the finish, such as subtle color variations from original equipment, metallurgical variations in the wheel alloy itself that cannot be remanufactured, an occasional particle of dust in the sealed finish, pre-existing cosmetic injuries that exceed what can be safely filled or machined, the rear and the interior of the barrel may not be primed and other similar features. Our results are considered fantastic by many customers, although a remanufactured wheel will never perfectly match a new original wheel. You agree to set your expectations accordingly, and if you have any special match or finish requirements, you must specify them in advance so that they can be noted in the work order and invoice.

Please note that most of our used wheels come from Japan and are over 10 years old. They come from an environment very conducive to corrosion, which is an irreversible mutation of the raw metal itself. For the wheels to be in used condition, it is normal for them to have traces of corrosion or chrome pitting. Sensei 6 offers a refurbishment service at an additional cost to get them back to new condition.
